Your Meat Lab

Tell about your experiences in the SR Meat Lab. Isn't it cool? You may offer suggestions here that will be considered for improving not only the course labs but the meat lab facility itself, including the sales area. While we may not able to implement all suggestions, we will read them and give them full consideration.

Welcome to Meat Science Blog!

Welcome, students, to the new Sul Ross Meat Science Blog site, a new and improved way for the meat science students to share their ideas and experiences from the meat lab and other Sul Ross classes. There are many different meat science classes that one can take in a college career, everything from Live Animal Inspection 2201 to Sausage Manufacturing 3407. These are just a few of the meat science classes that are offered at Sul Ross.
I decided to study meat science at Sul Ross because of the FFA experience that I had in high school and also because ninety percent of the classes take place in the A/C. As an extra kick, the whole meat lab has been remodeled and has some of the most advanced tools and equipment of any meat lab in Texas.
We would like to hear from you, the student, as to why have you decided to continue your education here at Sully, and also why have you chosen meat science as your major field of study.
